About Cask Fence Temecula
Cask Fence Temecula offers and manages fence, gate and wall projects across Temecula and southwest Riverside County, plus Fallbrook, for homes, ranch and wine country properties, and commercial sites. Licensed and insured contractors carry out the work.
Fences, gates and the walls they sit on, planned as one boundary.
What the work covers
Every project here is about a property line and what stands on it: wood, vinyl, iron and chain link fences, the gates in them, and the block and retaining walls they often sit on or beside. A project starts by walking the line, settles the paperwork that decides what can be built, and ends with a fence that stands straight, gates that latch and a clean site.
- Wood Fences: Redwood, cedar, fir or treated pine privacy fences, on wood or galvanized steel posts, planned around Temecula's soil, sun and wind.
- Vinyl Fences: Vinyl privacy, semi-privacy and ranch rail fences, with gate posts reinforced for the load and rails fitted to move with Temecula's summer heat.
- Wrought Iron Fences: Ornamental tubular steel and aluminum fences and iron gates, on their own posts or between block pilasters, finished to hold up in Temecula sun.
- Gates: Walk gates, double drive gates and RV gates in wood, vinyl, steel or aluminum, hung on posts sized for the leaf and set up for slope and swing clearance.
- Chain Link Fences: Galvanized or black vinyl-coated chain link for dog runs, side yards, acreage and utility areas, built tight on properly braced terminal posts.
- Pool Fences: Pool enclosures in aluminum, tubular steel or vinyl, with self-closing, self-latching gates, planned around Temecula's pool and spa handout.
- Fence Repair: Leaning and rotted posts, broken boards and panels, wind damage, sagging gates and slack chain link, repaired where the rest of the fence is still sound.
- Fence Replacement: Old fence out, concrete footings removed, boundary markers protected, and a new wood, vinyl, metal or chain-link fence built on a fresh post plan.
- Horse and Ranch Fencing: Pasture, paddock and turnout fencing in rail, vinyl ranch rail, steel pipe or no-climb mesh, with braced corners and gates sized for horses and equipment.
- Hillside Fences: Fences that step or rack down a slope, gates placed where the grade allows a swing, posts drilled into hardpan or rock, and fences built on or above retaining walls.
- Fire-Resistant Fences: Noncombustible fence sections and metal gates for the five feet next to the house, in steel, aluminum, chain link or masonry, sized to your parcel's fire zone.
- Commercial Fencing: Perimeter and security fencing, commercial gates and temporary site fencing, planned around fire department access and managed through licensed contractors.
- Block Walls: Freestanding concrete block walls and pilasters, in precision, split-face or slumpstone, with wrought iron infill where a view matters, built to the city's standard or an engineered design.
- Retaining Walls: Reinforced block and segmental retaining walls for sloped and terraced lots, with the drainage, footing and engineering each wall needs, and fences planned on top.
- Automatic Gates: Swing and slide gate operators matched to the gate and its use, with monitored safety sensors, planned power and fire department access.
- Temporary Fence Rental: Freestanding panel fence with stands, clamps, sandbags and gates for pool construction, building sites, open excavations and events.
Who builds it
Cask Fence Temecula sets up and manages each project. The work is carried out by licensed and insured contractors, to these standards:
- Licensed contractors for each trade. In California, fences fall under the CSLB C-13 fencing class, masonry walls under C-29 and concrete work under C-8. Each part of a project goes to a contractor licensed for it.
- The right permit for the address. The 2025 California Residential Code exempts most fences up to 7 ft from a building permit, but cities, counties and HOAs set their own height limits. Taller fences, masonry walls, retaining walls over 4 ft and pool enclosures go through the city or county.
- Utilities marked before digging. California law requires a DigAlert ticket at least two working days before any post hole is dug.
- City wall standards. Block walls and retaining walls in Temecula follow the city standards CD-24 and CD-25 unless an engineer designs them.
- Pool barriers to the local rule. Pool enclosures follow the city or county barrier rule, including self-closing, self-latching gates that swing away from the pool.
How pricing works
The cost guide explains what moves the price on a Temecula-area lot, and the cost estimator gives a national budgeting range before anyone visits. The price for a specific property comes in a written estimate after someone walks the line and sees the ground, the slope and the gates.
Where the work happens
Projects cover Temecula and southwest Riverside County, plus Fallbrook. The area pages explain how the permit office, the fence rules, the soil and the fire zones change from place to place.
How a job runs
The call
Length, material, height, slope, how many gates, and anything the HOA has already said.
The site visit
Walk the line, look for corner pins or a survey, and check grade, rock, drainage and access for equipment.
Paperwork
HOA submittal, written notice to a neighbor where a fence is shared, any permit, and a DigAlert ticket at least two working days before digging.
The build
Posts set and the concrete cured, then rails and boards or panels, then gates hung and adjusted on their own heavier posts.
The walk
Check plumb and line, gate swing and latch, and the gap at the bottom, then clear debris and leftover concrete.
