Cask Fence Temecula

Service areas

Fence installation service areas

Cask Fence Temecula plans and manages fences, gates and walls across Temecula and southwest Riverside County, plus Fallbrook. Each city sets its own fence heights and issues its own permits, the unincorporated areas go through Riverside County, and Fallbrook follows San Diego County. Fire zones, soils and homeowner associations change from one area to the next too, and the area pages explain what that means for a fence.

The permit office and the fence rules change at every city and county line.

Schematic, not to scale: close-together neighborhoods are spread out so each number reads.

Inside Temecula

The City of Temecula issues fence and wall permits for every neighborhood inside the city limits, and its fee schedule has no line for a wood, vinyl or metal fence under 6 ft. What changes from one part of the city to another is the ground, the fire zone and the homeowner association. The height and permit guide covers the city rules, and the HOA approval guide covers the association side.

Redhawk

On CAL FIRE's 2025 local responsibility area map, a sample point in Redhawk falls in a Very High Fire Hazard Severity Zone, and zones change from parcel to parcel. Where a fence or gate meets the house, that matters: the fire-resistant fence page explains the proposed rules for the five feet next to a home. Hillside lots here also bring stepped or racked panels into the plan.

Harveston

A sample point in Harveston maps as a High Fire Hazard Severity Zone on the same CAL FIRE layer. The fence rules are the city's, and any association guidelines sit on top of them, so approval in writing comes before materials are ordered.

De Luz and La Cresta

The rural edges west of Temecula and Murrieta, including De Luz and La Cresta on the Santa Rosa Plateau, are covered on the wine country page and, for the San Diego County side of De Luz, the Fallbrook page. A federal soil survey point in De Luz falls in a very stony rock outcrop complex on 30 to 75% slopes, with bedrock about 26 cm down, which decides how posts go in.
